DMK urges govt to call for international probe in SL

The DMK has urged the government to move a resolution calling for an international probe in the alleged war crimes committed against Tamils by the Sri Lankan government during the civil war, which came to an end in 2009. Commenting about the important resolutions that were passed at the meeting, DMK politician Selva Ganapathy urged the government to declare the massacre that occurred in Sri Lanka as genocide.
