Duty on import of TV sets at airports to help save falling Re

Airports in India are witnessing a rush of travelers bringing television sets from abroad before a government move to impose duty on import of flat-screened-televisions. India plans to impose 36% duty on import of flat-screened-television sets from Monday to curb their import to help prop up the beleaguered rupee.
