"Early solution to the land row issue"

An all-party delegation led by central home minister Shivraj Patil that visited Kashmir in a bid to defuse a simmering land transfer row came back to New Delhi on Sunday. Shivraj Patil said there was improvement in the situation and said that the government would compensate fruit growers and others affected in the row. Meanwhile, thousands of people defied curfew and came out on the streets on Monday.
