Earthquake in Pakistan, New Delhi

A powerful earthquake of 7.4 Richter struck Pakistan at 1:53 am on Wednesday. There are no reports of any major casualty apart from collapse of 10 houses. Initial reports suggested that the epicentre of the earthquake was in Southwest Pakistan. A minor earthquake hit New Delhi and its adjoining areas too at around 2 am but there were no reports of casualties or damage. Besides the capital, the tremors were also felt in surrounding areas such as Noida, Faridabad and Gurgaon. One of the locals said that he had to come down from his building in the cold, as it could be devastating.
