Economy to bounce back from Oct: Kaushik Basu

Chief Economic Advisor Kaushik Basu today said that the country's economic growth, which dipped to a 9-year low of 6.5 per cent in 2011-12, is expected to rebound from October. Basu also added that the government was working to remove "trust problems" with the industry. Meanwhile slamming Kaushik Basu's statement CPI leader D Raja said that government should review the economic policies and Prime Minister Manhohan Singh should be held responsible for bad economic condition of the country.
