Education in the realm of Maoists Jharkhand, April 20 (ANI): With an aim to provide a better future to poor children in Maoist-hit area of Jharkhand, Upendranath Karmakar runs an orphanage which imparts education to them. Kantha Singh orphanage was founded in December 2005 in Ghatsila town of Singhbhum district of the state. Speaking to a reporter, Karmakar highlighted the significance of the orphanage. The children mostly hail from the Maoist-affected and poverty stricken regions of Dumaria, Ghatsila, Darbhanga and Chakulia of the state.
