Education, the only weapon against Naxalism
Updated on May 06, 2012 09:38 pm IST
A new ray of hope has emerged for the stranded and orphaned girl child, in the Naxal-hit Lohardaga region of Jharkhand, that of education. The Local Police has traced out such unprovided children out of minutest of corners of the region, and is planning their rehabilitation, and admitting them to a local school. Since the time Naxalism burst out in the region, young children, especially girls were denied the right of education and were subjected to trafficking, among other ill-fates. Meanwhile, SP, Jitender Kumar Singh ensured that the girls will be provided with everything that they require, in their endeavour to attain proper education.
