European Council Prez meets Manmohan Singh

European Council president, Herman Van Rompuy along with European Commission president Jose Manuel Barroso on Friday met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi. Rompuy and Singh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) behind the closed walls. An entire gamut of bilateral issues including accelerating trade ties, global financial crisis, climate change and counter terrorism are some of the other issues expected to be discussed in the meeting.
