Fatehpur Sikri gets a makeover ahead of CWG

As the Commonwealth Games near, Uttar Pradesh is gearing up to cash in the huge inflow of tourists to the maximum by renovating monuments and heritage sites frequented by thousands of tourists year. Fatehpur Sikri, one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites in Agra is undergoing renovation. Visitors said they were glad that the reconstruction work was being carried out. Agra and its surrounding areas have numerous world-renowned heritage sites such as the Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri and the Agra Fort.
