Fire at Kurla station; Mumbai local trains hit
Updated on Apr 18, 2012 12:38 pm IST
Thousands of Mumbai local train passengers had a tough time on Wednesday morning as the trains were late by around 45 minutes following a fire in the Kurla and Vidyavihar signalling cabins. The fire has now been brought under control and there are no casualties. Due to indefinite delay, at least four incoming and outgoing outstation trains have been cancelled. Officials have said that the repairs in the signal cabin and other works could take at least two-three days before the situation returns to normal.
