Fire at PNB building near Parliament

A major fire broke out in the parliament Street branch of the nationalized Punjab National bank this evening. About 20 fire tenders have rushed to the spot. Sources said that there have been no reports of casualties but many people could be trapped inside the building. The injured victims have been admitted to the nearby hospitals and the adjoining buildings have been evacuated. The six-storey building is in the heart of Delhi and in the vicinity of the Patel Chowk metro station. UCO Bank is also situated in the same building.
