Five Maoists held in Chhattisgarh

Acting on a tip-off, police officials arrested five Maoist ultras from a heavily forested area near the Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh on Sunday. The raid was carried out as part of a joint operation conducted by the state police and personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force. The arrested rebels have been identified as Laskhman, Aaitu, Rasool, Somnath and Phool Singh. At least 30 live cartridges and Maoist literature were also recovered from them.
