Fresh violence in Srinagar over youth killing

The demise of 26-year-old Mohammad Rafiq Bangro,who was in a critical condition,after being injured in an altercation with personnel of paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel,initiated fresh incidents of protests in Srinagar in Kashmir on Sunday.Bangro,who belonged to the Safakadal area of Srinagar,was beaten up severely by CRPF officials outside his home on June 12,his family members said.Locals said that the security forces considered Bangro a part of a stone-pelting mob and beat him up.He succumbed to his injuries on June 19 after his condition deteriorated drastically.
