Gadkari's U-turn on IQ remark

Even as he stirred the hornet's nest by comparing the intelligent quotients (IQ) of Swami Vivekananda with that of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, BJP President Nitin Gadkari today took a u-turn on the controversial remark. Adressing the media in New Delhi, Gadkari retorted that his comments were misrepresented. Meanwhile, Senior Congress Leader, Jagdambika Pal lashed out at Gadkari, saying that it was very shameful that a man of his stature had made such a statement. Another Congress Leader, Girija Vyas said she sympathized with Gadkari's thinking and intelligence.
