Small and medium sized Garment making units at Noida in Uttar Pradesh are facing the heat of the recession in the US and many European countries leading to a drop in export orders. Many of the garment making units in the area, located on the outskirts of New Delhi, have either closed down or on the verge of closing. These units are demanding incentives from the government to survive in the market in the face of tough competition from China.
