Gehlot attends Jan TV launch

Citing the importance of media in the present times, Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot insisted that media should continue to fulfill the responsibility given to it. Gehlot was speaking on the occasion of the launch of Jan TV channel in Jaipur. He added that like any other sector, the media sector had also seen a sea of changes in the recent past and insisted on the need of ethical journalism. He also admitted that running a TV channel was not an easy job, but he was optimistic about the success of Jan TV. Gehlot also advised the management of Jan TV and the entire journalist fraternity to a keep distance from running programs based on Jadu Tona or superstition.
