Girls outshine boys in the Class XII exams

Girls continued to outshine boys in the Class XII exams conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education with 81% of the students clearing the exams. Girls registered a pass percentage of 85.94 against 77.40 of boys. A total of 6,37,976 students were registered for this year's exam. This year's pass percentage marks an increase of 0.09 per cent over the pass rate of last year.
