GJM calls indefinite bandh in Darjeeling from January 12

As soon as the Srikrishna Committee report on Telangana became public on Thursday, Gorkha Janmukti Morcha leaders came out with a plan to intensify the Gorkhaland agitation that will cripple Darjeeling for weeks. Gorkha Janmukti Morcha called for 96 hours bandh in the Darjeeling hills from January 12 to press for a separate Gorkhaland state. Roshan Giri also informed that the shutdown would be spread over 34 days with relaxations in between.
