Govt has scope for asset sales: Ahluwalia

Indian government can raise funds through selling, up to 49 per cent of state-run firms, Montek Singh Ahluwalia, deputy chairman of the Planning Commission confirmed on Monday, adding that the economic outlook had improved over the past three months. Montek Singh Ahluwalia also told a news conference that there was a need for limiting subsidies.
