Govt's New Year gift: Hike in CNG Price

Here's the New Year gift by the government. The state-run Indraprastha Gas Ltd has hiked the CNG prices by rupees 1.75 per kg in national capital and rupees 2.00 per keg in suburbs like Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad. The move is an impact of the depreciation of the rupee against the US dollar. The hike has added to the woes of the common man who is already battling soaring inflation. With the fifth time increase in the CNG Prices this year, consumers will now have to pay rupees 33.75 per kg in New Delhi and rupees 37.90 per kg in NCR.
