Govt taking steps to tame inflation: Pranab

Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said that the government was taking steps to contain inflation. The return of inflation to the headlines comes at the wrong time for the ruling Congress party as it mulls reforms like the liberalization of the agricultural sector, which could entail painful adjustments to freer markets by millions of Indians.
