Gowda appoints inverstigation team in Mahantesh murder case

Expressing regret at the unfortunate death of Karnataka's senior government official SP Mahantesh, who was brutally assaulted for exposing scams in house-building cooperative societies, Karnataka chief minister DV Sadananda Gowda on Sunday said that he has appointed an investigating team to probe the matter. The Karnataka administrative service officer Mahantesh suffered head injuries in the alleged attack by unidentified people on May 15 and had been on life support since the last two days.
