Greatful to Mamata didi for supporting Pranab: Abhijit Mukherjee

Even as relations, family friends and admirers of Pranab Mukherjee hailed his election as the next President of India, Pranab's son, Abhijit Mukherjee has thanked West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee and her Trinamool Congress (TMC) party for electing his father although initially, she was reluctant to extend her party's support to Pranab's candidature.
