Gujjars block NCR

Gujjars on Thursday blocked road and rail traffic in the Capital and adjoining areas as part of their 'NCR rasta roko' agitation. With the spread out of Gujjar protest in the National Capital region, the Government has fine tuned its plans to turn the city into a fortress. Around 45,000 police and paramilitary personnel have been deployed to minimize the disruption by the protest.
