Haryana CM wakes up to rape horror, announces measures

Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda convened a meeting of senior officials and top brass of the police at Chandigarh on Friday to review the prevailing law and order scenario, consequent to the recent spate of rape cases of minor girls in the state. He also stated that certain immediate measures have been initiated to tackle the crime against women. Further he mentioned that lady police officials would be designated in each district to assist women and girls who face any sort of problems.
