Health policy for it

With a growing number of young IT professionals suffering from lifestyle diseases, the government is planning a workplace health policy for those working in this sector. The health problems, which were earlier limited to stress have now extended to heart diseases, skin problems and mental disorders, and hence the need for a 'dedicated health policy'. Reducing just one health risk increases on-the-job productivity by 9 per cent and cuts absenteeism by 2 per cent.
