Heavy rains lash Delhi

After a gap of a few days, heavy rains lashed the national capital on Sunday, bringing along familiar problems like waterlogging and traffic disruptions. According to met department, it started drizzling in various parts of the city early this morning. The rain drops turned into heavy downpour later. Forty-three millimeters of rainfall were recorded between 8.30 am and 10.30 am. The rains also brought the mercury down to 23.1 degree Celsius, a notch below normal. The humidity was recorded between 66 and 96 per cent.
