High alert across the nation

In the wake of the bomb explosions in Bengaluru and Ahmedabad, security has been beefed up in various cities in anticipation of more attacks. Police in the pilgrim spot of Haridwar are frisking people and conducting random checks. A high alert has also been sounded in Dwarka after the serial blasts in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, sensing a threat to the Bombay Stock Exchange, security been beefed up around it.
