Hindu festivals celebrated with pomp and gaiety

Hindu festival Dussehra, which marks the victory of good over evil, was celebrated with pomp and gaiety across the country on Thursday. People in Mysore city took out a colourful procession to celebrate Dussehra that marks the victory of Hindu legendry God-king Ram over demon Ravana. On other hand, Hindu devotees, mainly from West Bengal, concluded the four-day festival of Durga Puja, dedicated to Hindu goddess Durga.
