Basti district in Uttar Pradesh is located 125 miles from the state's capital Lucknow. It provides a perfect example of harmonious relations that exist between different communities living in India. This is clearly visible in the villages Allahpur and Bhagwanpur.Allahpur, has a majority Hindu population while Bhagwanpur has mostly Muslim residents.Irrespective of their faiths and beliefs, the people of both villages share a strong bond of brotherhood. And this is the way things have been for as long as people can remember.
