Hindus take holy dip in Ganges on Vasant Panchami

Braving the early morning winter chill today Hindus devout took holy dip in River Ganges at Haridwar on the occasion of Vasant Panchami also celebrated as Saraswati Puja as part of the Kumbh Mela festival. According to the mela calendar, Vasant Pachami is the third important snan or bathing day. There are all together seven important snans.
