Home Ministry calls for security meet following Varanasi blast

In the wake of Varanasi blast, Home Ministry on Wednesday decided to hold a meeting to come up with special security measures for the country. U. K. Bansal, newly appointed special secretary(Internal Security) in the ministry revealed about the meeting in national capital New Delhi while interacting with mediapersons. Meanwhile, the ministry has sounded a nationwide alert with special stress on four major cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad - in wake of the blast. They said a high-level team of the National Investigation Agency is also likely to visit the holy town.
