Hope for Sarabjit, Lahore blast accused Rattu arrested

Manjit Singh Rattu, who is allegedly involved in the 1990 Lahore bombings in which Sarabjit Singh has been facing the death sentence in Pakistan, was on Friday remanded to two days police custody by a local court in Haryana. Rattu was presented before the judicial courts in Panchkula after being arrested in Chandigarh by the state police on December 16 on charges of cheating. The infamous journalist Rattu, who has a history of fraud activities, said that he has no involvement in the Punjab region bombings for which Singh is facing punishment in Pakistan.
