Updated on Feb 10, 2015 08:08 pm IST
Hindustan Times Metro Editor Shivani Singh explains the Aam Aadmi Party and its chief Arvind Kejriwal's effective transition from defeat in 2014 Lok Sabha polls in 2014 to a landslide victory in Delhi assembly polls. Shredding the tag of being a 'quitter', Kejriwal created a campaign that revolved around his apology and acceptance of mistakes while striking an emotional cord with the voters. She also comments on the challenges that AAP will face while striking a balance in functioning with the central government, amongst others. Dealing with challenges and operating within constraints will determine whether Kejriwal will be able to effectively govern the capital.
