Upset at the continued disturbance of the proceedings over the Women's Reservation Bill in the Parliament, Meira Kumar, Speaker of Lok Sabha, while addressing a press conference on Monday said that the Speakers have many alternatives to run the House smoothly but have refrained from taking any harsh actions. Meanwhile, condemning the act, the Congress party slammed the RJD and SP for their churlish attempts.
