Increasing pollution in J&K threatens tourism

Sudden rise of pollution levels is increasingly affecting Jammu & Kashmir, popularly known as 'paradise' on earth. This is not only spoiling the beauty of the state, but is also affecting the tourism in the region. Kashmir is known for its beautiful mountains, famous resorts, lakes and rivers. But for the last few years, pollution levels have shot up because of rapid industrialisation, opening of several brick and cement factories and other illegal constructions.
