India, Afghan sign MoU for cooperation in statistics

India and Afghanistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the field of statistics in New Delhi today. The MoU was signed by Statistics and Programme Implementation Minister Dr. M S Gill and Abdul Rahman Ghafoori, President General, Central Statistics Organisation, Afghanistan.Speaking on the occasion,Dr.Gill said,India has a long history of data collection for sensible planning and is now all set to help Afghanistan in this field for capacity building.
