India hands over 8th aid consignment to China

Indian Foreign minister Pranab Mukherjee visited the Sichuan province, which was hit by a deadly earthquake recently. Wrapping his four-day visit to China, Mukherjee handed over eighth earthquake aid consignment to the disaster hit country on Saturday. An IL-76 carrying 28 tonnes of relief material landed at Chengdu on Saturday. Handing over the relief to vice governor of Sichuan, Mukherjee expressed his solidarity and sympathy to the people of China.
