India-Pak discuss bilateral ties

Lawmakers from Pakistan, on a visit to India to discuss matters of bilateral importance, have stressed on the promotion of an atmosphere of peace and harmony for the interests of the common people. Meanwhile, a member of the delegation and leader of Pakistan People's Party (PPP), Jahangir Badar, said that a similar invitation had been extended to their Indian counterparts. Earlier in the week, lawmakers and diplomats from India and Pakistan held their formal talks on various issues in New Delhi and expressed their desire to take their slow-moving peace process.
