India’s robotics wing soaring high: DRDO chief

Director General of India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Vijay Kumar Saraswat has said the country is making remarkable progress in its robotics programme. Addressing mediapersons in Coimbatore, Saraswat said that the unmanned vehicle, called 'Daksha' was an example of success being tasted by the robotics wing of the research body. Another project under development by the research body is the country defense system against chemical, biological and nuclear attacks or leaks.
