India's paramilitary Border Security Force has stepped up vigil along the India-Pakistan international border in Rajasthan, following strain in relations between the two countries in the wake of Mumbai terror attacks. Recently, the Director General of BSF had undertaken a tour of the northwestern border in three districts of Jaisalmer, Barmer and Sriganganagar, to take stock of the situation. The BSF personnel patrolling the area said that they were ready to tackle any situation.
