India test-fires another Agni missile

India's indigenously designed and built intermediate ballistic missile, Agni-III was successfully test fired at the DRDO's Interim Test Range near Chandipur-on-Sea in Balasore District of Orissa today. Agni-III which has a range of 3000-3500 kilometres was test fired from the Wheeler's Island in the Bay of Bengal. The missile is capable of carrying nuclear warheads weighing upto 1.8 tonnes.
