Indian killed in Uganda cremated in Gujarat

Devang Rawal, a young Indian killed in mob violence in Uganda, was cremated in his hometown Ahmedabad on Sunday evening. Raval, who went to Uganda two years ago after his father lost his job, was stoned to death by a mob protesting against the expansion of an Indian-owned sugarcane plantation on Thursday. His body was flown in from Uganda to Mumbai earlie on Sunday and was brought to his hometown in the evening.
