Indian Olympians slam Dow Chemicals
Updated on Nov 15, 2011 01:30 pm IST
Extending solidarity with the Bhopal gas tragedy victims, former Indian Olympians have sharply criticised the organisers of the 2012 London Olympics for making Dow Chemicals, the official sponsor of the games. Demanding justice for the victims, the former hockey Olympians signed a petition urging the London Olympics Committee to take back its decision. Echoing similar sentiments, another veteran Olympian, Imam-ur-Rehman, highlighted the plight of the victims, and urged Indians to protest the decision of the organisers.
