Indian PM arrives in Bhutan to attend SAARC summit

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived in Bhutanese capital Thimphu on Wednesday to participate in the 16th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit to be held on April 28 and 29. Bhutanese Prime Minister Jigme Y Thinley and Indian Ambassador to Bhutan, Pavan K Varma, received Singh at the airport. Singh received a red-carpet welcome and guard of honour at the airport.
