Indo-US relations will flourish: US envoy on Obama's win

New Delhi, Nov 07 (ANI): The US envoy to India, Nancy Powell today hailed the projected second term of President Barack Obama saying that it was a closely fought race to the finish and added that irrespective of the outcome, US relations with India will continue to flourish. Powell said this while addressing a gathering at the 'US election viewing party' in New Delhi. Meanwhile, locals were seen celebrating the victory of Obama and expressed happiness over his win. Obama rolled to re-election and a second term in the White House, television networks projected, defeating Republican challenger Mitt Romney and overcoming deep doubts about his handling of the US economy.
