Iran calls for deepening cultural bonds

After pushing for energy cooperation, Iran is seeking to forge deeper ties with India through cultural diplomacy. Iran's Vice-President, Esfandiar Rahim Mashaee urged both countries to expand ties of friendship, by introducing to plenty of capacities shared by both countries. Energy-starved India desperately wants to kick-start the long-stalled tri-nation pipeline project between Iran, Pakistan and India because it needs Iranian fuel to help drive its economic development.
