Iraqi Oil Minister meets Manmohan Singh

Iraqi Oil Minister Hussain al-Shahristani met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday at New Delhi. Shahristani is on a four-day visit to India to invite Indian firms to set up oil refineries in his country. Iraq has a refining capacity of 603,000 barrels per day. The Iraqi minister invited Indian Oil Corporation and Engineers India Limited to consider entering the downstream sector.
