With an eye on tapping the potential for spiritual tourism in the Kashmir Valley, Jammu and Kashmir government mulls plans to develop 'lesser known' Buddhist heritage sites in the state. The state government wants to develop all those places linked to Buddhism in the state like Harwan, Ushkura, and Parihaspur in a bid to give a boost to religious tourism.
