J&K protests affect tourism

The ongoing clashes in Jammu & Kashmir over the revocation of forestland allotment have now started scaring away thousands of visitors. This is hurting the tourism industry in the valley. With a slow moving peace process between India and Pakistan, visitors had started returning to the scenic region, but the ongoing unrest in the Jammu has scared tourists to visit the scenic beauty in the Himalayan region.
